Baseball: Undefeated Little Falls pummels Princeton 12-0

After eking out a 2-1 win over Princeton earlier in the season, Little Falls blasted the visiting Tigers 12-0, Friday.

Senior Joey Hanowski gave the Flyers a quick 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the first, then senior Matt Valentine broke the game open with a three-run blast in the fourth.

Senior Michael Holthaus doubled and reached base three times while senior Mitch Gregory and juniors Collin Eckman, Spencer Fenske and Matt Stumpf contributed a hit and a run.

Senior Luke Thoma threw a two-hit shutout in the five-inning game, striking out nine.
