Baseball: USA shuts out Royalton

Upsala-Swanville Area (USA) took advantage of an eight-run second inning to seize control in a 9-0 home win over Royalton, Monday.

Junior Alec Griffith went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs and junior Andy Nelson had two hits and two stolen bases to lead the Patriots.

Junior Eric Lampert added a homer and three RBIs and junior Tren Dinius and sophomore Dylan Zimmerman doubled.

Senior Travis Schneider struck out eight in five innings of work to notch the win.
