Baseball: Third-ranked Browerville escapes Royalton in seventh

Royalton came within three outs of knocking off third-ranked Browerville, Tuesday, but the visiting Tigers plated three runs in the seventh to escape with a 5-4 win.

Sophomore Cade Stang went 3-for-3 with three doubles to lead the Royals.

Junior Matt Silbernick struck out seven over 6 1/3 innings of work.

Royalton hosts Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Friday.
