St. Cloud Cathedral had an answer the first two times Little Falls scored Tuesday, scoring twice in the fourth and once in the fifth after the Flyers had taken the lead.

But after seniors Alayna Kabanuk and Brichelle Brummer drove in two more runs in the bottom of the fifth, sophomore Alea Cekalla shut down the visiting Crusaders over the final two innings, giving the Flyers a 5-3 win.

Senior Britian Conley and junior Jamie Jenks each went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI to lead Little Falls.

Junior Chantelle Anderson added a single and scored the Flyers’ other run.

Cekalla struck out six and scattered eight hits to earn the complete-game win.

Little Falls plays at Zimmerman, Thursday.
