Patricia Ann Soderman, 43, Brainerd, was charged in the Morrison County District Court with one felony count of fifth degree possession of drugs.
On May 5, Little Falls police officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Fifth Street Southwest.
When officers arrived at the scene, they met with Soderman, who told them she and her boyfriend had a dispute. She said she wanted to get her belongings and leave.
As Soderman was picking up her belongings from the patio, an officer observed her drop, then pick up, a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. The pipe appeared to have a white residue inside.
Soderman allegedly admitted the pipe was hers and that it did contain methamphetamine. According to the criminal complaint, she also told the officers she used it to smoke methamphetamine within the last few days.
The pipe was field-tested and the results came back positive for methamphetamine.
Soderman was then placed under arrest.
If convicted, Soderman faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
