May 3 — A resident on Acorn Road in Burtrum reported the receipt of two packages paid for by illegal use of the resident’s credit card by someone else.

May 6 — A laptop on loan from a school was stolen while the student was staying at a residence an Third Avenue in Pierz.

May 7 — A resident of Rose Haven Boulevard in Little Falls reported a telephone scam involving a person calling and saying they were from the Social Security Office seeking bank account numbers.

May 7 — An old logging chain and a cover from an old cream can were stolen from a residence on Cable Road in Bowlus.

May 9 — A theft was reported by a resident on River Front Lane in Motley.

May 9 — An 18-row John Deere planter was stolen from Dove Road south of Pillager. The planter is a 10 to 15-year-old model 1714 valued at $30,000.
