Three people arrested in Morrison County for possession of drugs
Donald Eugene Watson Jr., 35, St. Cloud; Jason Paul Baumer, 25, Foley; and Valyncia Lynn Manheimer, 26, Foley, were each charged in the Morrison County District Court with one felony count of fifth degree possession of drugs. Baumer was also charged with one count of receiving stolen property.
On May 3, the Morrison County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on 330th Avenue. When they entered the residence, the deputies came in contact with Watson and Manheimer.
According to the criminal complaint, Manheimer said she and Watson had been staying at the residence for a few days. She told the deputies she had no permanent address and Watson said they would find marijuana inside the home.
The deputies searched the residence and the surrounding property, allegedly finding items that were either drug related or possibly stolen. The items included 2.7 grams of methamphetamine inside a car belonging to Manheimer. They also found 1.2 grams of methamphetamine in Watson’s wallet.
Both Manheimer and Watson were placed under arrest for possession.
When Baumer was located, he allegedly admitted he resided at the residence where the search warrant was executed and that his bedroom was on the north side of the home, where the deputies located methamphetamine.
Baumer was also placed under arrest. According to the criminal complaint, he admitted he was in possession of a trailer which was identified as being stolen out of Benton County. The trailer was valued at $1,000.
If convicted, Watson, Manheimer and Baumer each face five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
