Baseball: Gregory, Eckman power Little Falls over Mora

Little Falls fell behind 3-2 after three innings at Mora, Tuesday, but outscored the Mustangs 8-1 the rest of the way to remain unbeaten with a 10-4 victory.
Senior Mitch Gregory tied the game in the fourth with an RBI double, then junior Collin Eckman put the Flyers ahead for good with a three-run blast.
Eckman and Gregory had three hits apiece and combined to drive in six runs.
Senior Joey Hanowski and junior Spencer Fenske each had a single and a double, with seniors Ian Stewart and Michael Holthaus collecting Little Falls’ other hits.
Senior Matt Valentine added two runs.
Fenske worked four innings to pick up the win and senior Luke Thoma tossed three scoreless innings to earn the save.
Little Falls plays at Milaca, Thursday.
