Some Community Services program fees to increase

Little Falls Community Services’ prices will increase for the 2012-13 school year. Business Manager Nancy Henderson presented the information to the Little Falls School Board at Monday night’s meeting.
All adult education fees are based on the actual cost of the class which is the same as last year.
After school programs increased 10 cents for both the Little Falls Community Middle School ($2.25 per day) and the elementary schools ($2.10 per day).
Youth recreation program fees are set to cover 50 percent of the cost. The remainder is covered by donations.
Programs for adults with disabilities have fees based on the actual costs.
Kids’ Hideout fees were raised 25 cents to $12 for the first five hours. For time used over five hours, the fees increased by five cents per hour, now $2.40. For two children or more in a household, the fee increased by five cents per hour to $2.05.
Extended day care increased by 10 cents to $3.60 for the morning program and $5.10 for the afternoon program. The fee for two or more children in a family, the fee increased to $4.25.
Drivers’ Education classroom charges increased from $75 to $76.50. Behind the wheel classes stayed the same ($215 plus a $15 gas surcharge).
Adult volleyball and tennis fees remained the same from last year: $170 per team for volleyball and $30 per person for tennis.
There was no increase for swimming lessons. The cost remains at $32 for residents and $37 for non-residents.
