Boys Golf: Little Falls wins Mora best ball tourney, Pierz’ Herold and Fuhrman take individual title

Pierz senior Kyle Fuhrman and junior Dustin Herold teamed up to win the individual event while Little Falls won the team competition at Wednesday’s Mora best ball tournament.

Fuhrman and Herold combined for a score of 71 at the event to lead the Pioneers to fifth place.

Senior Michael Meyer and freshman Josh Rocheleau earned a 97.

The Flyers were led by the third-place duo of freshman Kyler Erdman and eighth grader Reed Hines at 75.

Seniors Jon Brill and Thomas Smith finished one shot back at 76 and junior Andrew Nooter and freshman Landon Atkinson combined for a 78.

Little Falls competes at Foley, Thursday, and Pierz competes at Sauk Centre, May 24.
