Gross misdemeanor charges filed

Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following people:

• Wayne Cary Thomsen, 48, Hillman — In connection with a Jan. 13 incident, Thomsen has been charged with one count of damage to property in the third degree – reduce value $501 – $1000.

• David Wayne Spencer, 42, Blue Earth — In connection with a May 13 accident, Spencer has been charged with one count of third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

• Robert James Dunham Devereaux, 29, Little Falls — In connection with a May 12, incident, Devereaux has been charged with one count of domestic assault – subsequent violation.

If found guilty, those charged face a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.

The court will set their appearance dates.
