Manhunt continues for suspect in kidnapping; investigators looking for public’s help
The Pope County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect in a felony kidnapping, assault, burglary and other crimes which took place yesterday in rural Clontarf near Pope County, Minnesota. Investigators believe Dennis Wayne Aasen, 39, may be driving a stolen green with black trim 1992 GMC Suburban, license plate 303 CDX. The vehicle has several Muzzy and Bigfoot hunting decals on the back window.
Aasen was last seen in Little Falls on the evening of May 17, but may also have connections to the following communities: Duluth, Isanti, Rochester and Clear Lake. Investigators are hoping anyone with information about Aasen or his whereabouts will contact authorities.
