Norlin (Nick) Yatckoske, 72

Norlin Yatckoske, a resident of Phoenix, Ariz., died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in Loma Linda, Calif.

Graveside services were held Saturday, May 26,  at the Lone Pine Cemetery, rural Morrill, with the Rev. Allen Jergenson officiating.

Norlin (Nick) Yatckoske was born March 11, 1941 in Pierz,  to Lester and Irene Yatckoske. Nick was a beloved husband and best friend to his wife of 49 years, Lynnelle (Samarza) Yatckoske. Norlin worked a number of years for Toro Manufacturing, Gulf Oil and Data Display in Minneapolis prior to moving to Phoenix in 1972. He retired from Motorola Government Electronics Division in 1998. Nick was involved in restoring vehicles and building and racing stock cars. But his ultimate hobby was flying. Nick held a private pilot and instrument rating and enjoyed every opportunity to fly his Bonanza.

Nick will be greatly missed by his wife, Lynnelle, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends he leaves behind..

He is preceded in death by his baby daughter, parents and brothers, Lester (Bud) and Wesley.
