Little Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (LFCVB) has scheduled a family historic bike ride during each month this summer. The first ride will be Tuesday, June 12 from noon – 5 p.m., beginning at the Rosenmeier House, 606 First St. S.E. (LFCVB location.)

Many families can be seen biking around Little Falls, using the bike lanes and trails as available. Gabrielle Meyer takes her brood on their own tour. Pictured are (from left) Gabrielle, Ellis, Asher and Judah (in carrier) and Maryn Meyer.

Riders will be able to enjoy an afternoon biking while receiving a guided tour of historic sites. The attractions that will be introduced are  Linden Hill with a river bluff tour, Waller House Bed and Breakfast with refreshments on the porch, Minnesota Fishing Museum, Pine Grove Zoo and Charles A. Lindbergh Museum and House tours.

Normal entrance fees will be waived during the bike tour.

The ride will overlap the new Mississippi River Trail (MRT.) Participants should bring a bike and water as the group will move from station to station with a bicycle guide. Helmets are required.

There will be door prizes. Participants must be independent bicyclists and parental permission is required for children under age 10.

Pre-register by contacting lfcvb@lfcvb.com or calling (320) 616-4959.

Future rides will be Tuesday, July 10 and Tuesday, Aug. 14.
