Events and festivities for the Little Falls Dam Festival are on track to have something for all ages to enjoy.
The medallion hunt is sponsored by Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union and is worth $500 to the lucky finder.
Clues will be posted daily beginning Monday at www.mmfcu.org and will be read on the Little Falls Radio stations at 8:40 a.m.
Official rules include: the medallion is located within Little Falls City limits and is on public property. The medallion is not buried or inside a building.
No one can start searching for the medallion before the first clue is posted on Monday at 9 a.m. Anyone searching for the medallion prior to the first posting will be disqualified. Destruction of any property is not necessary and will not be allowed.
The finder of the medallion will presented with the $500 prize Friday at the Dam Festival.
The finder of the medallion must present the medallion to staff at Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union during business hours for verification of the medallion. If the medallion is not turned in by Friday at 5 p.m. the money will be donated to a local organization.
Becky McClain, festival chair, said, “The planning is going very well. There is a lot of hard work that goes into planning this event and we couldn’t do it without the support of our local businesses and community. It cost approximately $35,000 to $40,000 to put on this event. A big thank you to all our sponsors because without their generous donations we would not be able to have this event.”

First prize – $5,000, Second – $3,000, third - $1,000, two – $500, two-$300 eight – $200 and 12 – $100 prizes There are only 250 tickets sold at $100 each.”
