Gross misdemeanor charges filed

Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following people:

• Sheila Ann Panek, 49, Bowlus — In connection with a May 29 incident, Panek has been charged with one count of driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety and one count of exceeding limit 55 mph where appropriate.

• Michael Anthony Kruschek, 32, St. Cloud — In connection with a June 4 incident,  has been charged with one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

If found guilty, those charged face a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.

The court will set their appearance dates.
