Pierz graduate Kaari Jensen, a junior on the Concordia College-Moorhead women’s track and field team, earned fourth place in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III Championships in Claremont, Calif., May 24 – 26.
Jensen finished with 4,825 points, 95 out of first, and was also named the Central Region Field Athlete of the Year Award.
Her highest point total came in the 100-meter hurdles, during which she accumulated 830 with a time of 15.09 seconds.
She placed in the top seven out of 22 competitors in five events and in the top half in all seven.
