Legion Baseball: Valentine, Thoma, Eckman power Little Falls to 11-4 win over Upsala-Swanville

Little Falls and Upsala-Swanville squared off in a rematch from last week, Wednesday, with host Little Falls breaking a tie in the middle innings to pull away with an 11-4 victory.

Matt Valentine, Luke Thoma and Collin Eckman each had three of Little Falls’ 17 hits, with Valentine doubling and driving in three runs, Thoma knocking in two and Eckman scoring twice.

Joey Hanowski added a pair of hits.

Gabe Ploof limited Upsala-Swanville to three runs, one earned, over seven innings to pick up the win.

Alec Griffith, Eric Lampert and Christian Pekarek had two hits apiece for Upsala-Swanville.
