Sentenced in MC District Court

The following persons, charged with a gross misdemeanor or misdemeanor level crime in Morrison County District Court, has recently been sentenced:

Gross misdemeanors

• Kathleen Eleanor McCarthy, 27, Battleview; (offense: 2/17/12) second degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, fined $1,015, sentenced to 90 days in jail and supervised probation for six years. Dismissed against McCarthy was one gross misdemeanor count of second degree DWI – refusal to submit to chemical testing.

• Trevor Michael Newman, 24, Little Falls; (offense: 2/12/12) third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, fined $1,015, sentenced to 30 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Newman was one gross misdemeanor count of third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.

• Ryan Gregory Spiczka, 23, Rice; (offense: 4/11/12) traffic regulation – driver must carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, fined $385, sentenced to 45 days in jail and probation to the court for one year.

• Lorraine Lee Holm, 56, Ramsey; (offense: 11/26/11) third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $985, sentenced to 45 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Holm was one count of third degree DWI – operate a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Todd Lee Koning, 43, Randall; (offense: 1/21/12) dismissed against Koning was one count of third degree DWI – refusal to submit to chemical testing

Misdemeanors

• Tara Lynn Strack, 24, Little Falls; (offense: 4/12/11) uninsured vehicle, fined $385, sentenced to 11 days in jail.

• Devin Davis Wachtel, 27, Little Falls; (offense: 3/13/12) theft – take/use/transfer movable property – without consent, fined $185, sentenced to two days in jail and probation to the court for one year.

• Caleb Douglas Hill, 22, Brainerd; (offense: 5/23/12) DWI operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours,  supervised probation for two years.

• Michael Alan Lenk, 32, Browerville; (offense: 3/8/12) DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $560 and supervised probation for two years.
