Larry Tepley, 73
Larry Duane Tepley was born June 29, 1939, in Robbinsdale, to Philip and Julia (Adamek) Tepley. His family moved from Robbinsdale to a farm near Upsala in 1948 and Larry graduated from Upsala High School in 1957. He was in the U.S. Army for two years. He was united in marriage to Margo (Peggy) Davis, June 10, 1967, in St. Cloud. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1969. He worked in Bemidji for MinneCEP and in Brainerd for the State Employment Office before buying his parents’ turkey farm near Upsala. He raised turkeys for 17 years. He enjoyed trapping, deer hunting, fishing and reading. Larry passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital, June 30, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Margo of Waite Park; six children, Daniel (Lori) of Los Alamos, N.M., Mary (Tim) Stahl of Greenfield, Sara (Scott) Olson of Waite Park, Deborah of Washington, D.C., Rachel of Waite Park, and Joshua (Kiki Berk) of South Bend, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and brother, Philip, Jr. of Bemidji.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Gerry.
Both the family visitation and memorial service will be held at Life Assembly of God Church in St. Cloud. The family visitation will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012.
