Little Falls’ Evan Athman, left, came in to score one of the Flyers’ six first-inning runs during the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader against Braierd. The Flyers won the game 6-1.

Little Falls shook off a 10-0 loss in Tuesday’s opener to win the finale 6-1 and earn a split.

Alec Zack collected a fifth-inning single for Little Falls’ lone hit in the opener.

The Flyers bounced back right away in the second game, scoring all six of their runs on four hits, a walk and two errors.

Little Falls put together a pair of bases-loaded, one-out threats in the second and fourth innings, but Brainerd converted double plays to escape both jams.

Dane Peterson went 3-for-4 to lead Little Falls, with Adam Hallberg and Hunter Kleinschmidt adding two hits apiece and Jeremy Klein and Evan Athman hitting singles.

Hallberg struck out 10 batters and held Brainerd to three hits to notch the win.
