Flood warnings continue in Fort Ripley as Mississippi passes flood stage

Tuesday morning, July 10, at 8 a.m. the Mississippi River near Fort Ripley was at 11 feet, with flood stage being 10 feet.

The National Weather Service is reporting minor flooding of rural areas near Fort Ripley.

According to the National Weather Service, the river will continue to fall after Tuesday and is expected to be below flood stage by early afternoon Monday, July 16.
