Nick Anderson fired a no-hitter to lead Little Falls to a 10-0 win in the opening game against visiting Pierz, Tuesday, before the Flyers finished the sweep with a 7-1 victory in the finale to improve to 18-4.
Little Falls seized control early with a four-run first, with Ben Witt driving in Alec Zack with a double, Anderson drawing a bases-loaded walk and Lucas Cofell delivering a two-run single.
Bryce Zawatzke drove in a run in the third before Little Falls put the game away with a five-run fourth.
The second game was a much closer battle, with the score tied at 1-1 midway through before the Flyers scored six unanswered runs to close out the win.
After Little Falls scored in the bottom of the first, Pierz tied the score after Chris Ortman bunted his way aboard, stole second, advanced to third on a groundout and scored on an RBI double by Noah Boser.
Ian McQuillan put Little Falls back on top with a two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the inning and Dane Peterson helped seal the win with a two-run double in the fourth.
Kyle Kabanuk collected Little Falls’ other hit, with Ben Witt working three innings to earn the win on the mound.
