The Little Falls City Council approved a plan to enforce its updated sign ordinance, Monday.

Upon advice of City Attorney Toni Wetzel, the city started with itself, and the “We Support Our Troops” was removed from the building on the corner of Broadway and First Street, Tuesday.

Next, city staff will look into 40-plus signs listed as non-compliant and submitted as a formal complaint to the city by resident Robin Hensel.

The owners of the building can apply for a permit from the city to hang the banner on their building in full compliance with the sign ordinance.
