Girls tennis: Pierz mows down Mora 6-1

With a sweep of the doubles competition and a dominant display in singles, the Pierz girls tennis team cruised past visiting Mora 6-1, Wednesday.

Seniors Abby Bujalski and Becca Froelich turned in a straight-set 6-3, 7-5 triumph at No. 1 doubles, with junior Stephanie Brill and sophomore Shelbie Boser winning at No. 2 doubles (6-2, 6-4) and senior Morgan Waytashek and junior Emily Okroi cruising at No. 3 doubles (6-3, 6-2).

In singles action, senior Tarynn Kasper (6-1, 6-0), junior Kiah Marschel (6-0, 6-2) and sophomore Kelsey Moulzolf (6-0, 6-1) all rolled to easy wins.

Pierz plays at Wadena-Deer Creek, Thursday.
