Marie Cielinski, 84

Marie Cielinski, a resident of the Pierz Villa, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Aug. 28, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Morrill, with the Rev. Daniel Walz officiating. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery.

Marie Cielinski was born March 11, 1928, in Morrill Township, Morrison County to Val and Rose (Bauer) Kampa. She married Tom Cielinski, Nov.26, 1946, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Brennyville. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and was an exceptional seamstress and loved reading. She worked at Stearn’s Manufacturing for many years. Marie also worked as a cook for various bars and restaurants and was an avid garage saler. She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Christian Mother’s, St. Jude’s Mission Sewing Group and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughters; Dan of Brooklyn Park, Kay (Jim) Benusa of Royalton, Bonnie (John) Brown of Hillman; Dewy (Sally) of Hillman, Joe (Pam) of St. Francis, John (Judy) of Pierz and Chuck (Kristi) of Gilman; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed (Kathy) Kampa and Jim (Shirley) Kampa; and sisters, Irene Moeller and Gloria (Ronnie) Graczyk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Tom and brother, Irvin ‘Buck’ Kampa and brother-in-law, Maynard Moeller.
