Richard Ciminski, 73

Richard L. Ciminski, a resident of Little Falls,  passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at his residence in Little Falls.

Funeral services were held at 11 A.M. Friday, Aug. 31, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Burial was in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Cemetery in Little Falls.

Richard was born July 31, 1939 in Little Falls,  to the late Leo and Ruth (Benson) Ciminski. He grew up, attended school and lived his entire life in Little Falls. Upon graduation and the passing of his father, Richard took over his dad’s milk route where he delivered milk for many years. Richard later went to work at Larson Boat Works in Little Falls, from which he retired. He had a true love for dogs, especially his own. Richard also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

Richard is survived by sisters, Barbara (Ron) Sobiech of Maple Grove and Audrey (Bob) Knox of New Orleans, La.; nephews, Todd Sobiech of Eagan and Scott Sobiech of Hudson, Wis.; sister-in-law, Debbie Ciminski of Naples, Fla.; nephew and godson, Jesse Ciminski of Naples, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Ruth Ciminski; and brothers, John and Byron Ciminski.
