Morrison County District Court

The following people, charged with a misdemeanor level crime in Morrison County District Court, have recently been sentenced:

Gross Misdemeanors

• Neal Robert Sochowicz, 43, Little Falls; (offense: 6/3/12) second degree DWI – refuse to submit to a chemical test, fined $900, sentenced to 30 days in jail. Dismissed against Sochowicz was one gross misdemeanor count of third degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Richard Lee Heinz, 28, Cushing; (offense: 5/27/12) DWI – operating a motor vehicle – alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $1,010, sentenced to 25 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Heinz was one gross misdemeanor count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Misdemeanors

• Clint Douglass Stephen, 42, Randall; (offense: 7/20/12) theft – take/use/transfer movable property – no consent, fined $415.19, probation to the court for one year.

• Daniel Vargas Garcia, 26, Motley; (offense: 2/01/12) fourth degree traffic – DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substance, fined: $560, sentenced to three days in jail and supervised probation for two years.

• Laurie Kay Bogucki Powell, 57, Blaine; (offense: 7/4/12) DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours; fined $560, sentenced to one day in jail and supervised probation for two years.

• Joseph Gerald Fuchs, 39, Royalton; (offense: 6/10/12) domestic assault – misdemeanor – commits acts to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death, fined $385, sentenced to three days in jail and supervised probation for two years. Dismissed against Fuchs was one gross misdemeanor count of emergency telephone calls/communications – interfere with 911 call.

• Joshua Vincent Roden, 21, Long Prairie; (offense: 7/30/12) careless driving, fined $285.

• Gary Bruce Slotto, 67, Motley; (offense: 7/25/12) fourth degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, fined $565, sentenced to two days in jail and supervised probation for two years. Dismissed against Slotto was one gross misdemeanor count of third degree DWI – refuse to submit to chemical test; and one gross misdemeanor count of driving restrictions – alcohol/controlled substances, violations.
