Thank you, generous donors, for answering the call to donate blood Aug. 22. The goal was for 90 units and we received 116 units. Thanks also to the volunteers and for the homemade cookies made by the staff at St. Francis. Unity Family Hospice would like to thank all participants who rode in the 17th annual Run For Hospice,  Aug. 25. Thanks to Zylka’s Red Bull, Looney Bend, Hillman and the 10 Spot,  Royalton for hosting, Greg Luberts for being road captain, Michel Wetzel and Morrison County Sheriff’s Department and Greg Schirmers and Little Falls Police Department for their assistance. Thanks to all who supported the Royalton Splash Park Committee Platte River Day, Aug. 4. Thanks especially to Lions Jerry Goedderz and Russ Gerads and parade and dunk tank volunteers, especially Supt. Jon Ellerbusch, Police Chief Adam Gunderson, School Counselor Eric Goodrich and local business owners Phil Vannurden, Lisa Keske, Sheila Biniek and Dave Sutton as well as Royalton High School alums. The Lincoln Ladies Aid would like to thank all who supported us in our annual raffle and sale again this year.
