The Little Falls boys soccer team stormed a 10-0 halftime lead en route to a 12-1 victory over visiting Princeton, Tuesday.

It was the first win of the season for the Flyers in their Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) opener, after earning a share of the inaugural GRC title with St. Cloud Cathedral a year ago.

Junior Tim Infinger and sophomore Connor Jorgensen each tallied hat tricks, with goals also provided by seniors Taylor Kottschade, Nathan Masog and Greg Ross, junior Jake Loukinen, sophomore Thomas Bell and freshman Peter Beam.

Bell added three assists and Kottschade had two.

Senior Gabe Ploof made three saves in net.

 

Princeton 7, Little Falls girls 0

The Little Falls girls soccer team opened its GRC season at Princeton, Tuesday, falling 7-0 to the Tigers.

Sophomore Scotti Jo Meyer made five saves and freshman Ellie Riitters had three for Little Falls.
