The Lindbergh Historic Site film series will present “Brothers on Holy Ground,” Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The film will be shown at the Charles A. Lindbergh Historic Site, 1620 Lindbergh Dr., Little Falls.
This film is being shown to commemorate the events of Sept. 11, 2001. The 2003 documentary, Brothers On Holy Ground, is the only documentary in existence made by a New York fireman and it spans the time period before, during and after 9-11. Fate called upon New York fireman Mike Lennon of Engine Co. 15 to make a documentary about his fellow New York firefighters before Sept. 2001.
After 9-11, Lennon continued filming, featuring interviews with a fireman that perished on 9-11 as well as fellow survivors and family members during and after 9-11. The film also includes unique footage from ground zero.
This historic film about the most tragic event of modern times will leave no one untouched. The film will be shown in the site visitor center theater. A discussion will follow each showing. Admission is free.
