Trap shooting planned at LeBlanc’s

Little Falls Community Services is offering a youth trap shooting class which will be held at LeBlanc’s Rice Creek Hunting and Recreation. The class is for youths that are 14 years old or older and have their firearms safety certificate. Students are required to present their certificate the first morning of class.

Students must supply their own gun, but no Hammer guns are allowed. Students must also have eye and ear protection. The class is limited to 20 students.

The certified instructors are Gregg LeBlanc and Craig Kempenich. Community Services is taking registrations at 14800 Riverwood Drive, Little Falls. The deadline to sign up is Friday. Classes are Saturdays, Sept. 15 and 22, starting at 8 a.m. and lasting four – five hours. Parents are required to attend the first Saturday at beginning of shoot for informational meeting.

The fee is $50 and payable to Community Services at registration. It is sponsored by Community Services and St. Gabriel’s Hospital.
