Swanville announces homecoming king and queen candidates
Swanville High School has announced its candidates for homecoming king and queen. Back row: Homecoming king candidates include Paul Fruechte, Tren Dinius, Jacob Opelia, Colten Kruzel and Grant Allen. Homecoming coronation will take place Sunday, Sept. 23, in the Swanville High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Through the week, students and staff will enjoy week-long homecoming activities including Monday, Sept. 24 – “fake injury” day; Tuesday, Sept. 25 – “redneck” day; Wednesday, Sept. 26 – “class color” day and homecoming olympics will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the gym. Thursday, Sept. 27 is “twin” day and Friday, Sept. 28 is “spirit” day. The Swanville homecoming football game against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Upsala. The homecoming dance will be held Friday, Sept. 28, from 8 p.m. – midnight.
