Gross misdemeanor charges filed
Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following people:
• David Brian Brighton, 43, Anoka — In connection with a Sept. 8 incident, Brighton has been charged with one count of obstructing legal process – interfering w/peace office and one count of third degree DWI – refusing to submit to chemical test.
• George Gregory Dundas, 31, Gilbert — In connection with a Aug. 17 incident, Dundas has been charged with one count of second degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and one count of second degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours.
If found guilty, those charged face a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.
The court will set their appearance dates.
