Look to the Bible for answers

To the Editor:

I’ve been reading the letters to the editor concerning “should we or should we not allow homosexual marriage in Minnesota.” I think we should all check out what the Bible says.

Dueteronomy 4:2 says “You shall not add to the Word which I command you, not take away from it. That you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

Then God gave us the Ten Commandments so we know what sins are and that we are all sinners. Read Exodus 20:1-17 also Deuteronomy 5:1-22.

Also read Leviticus 20: 10-16; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Romans 1:26-27; and 1 Timothy: 1:8-11.

As Christians, we need to remember it is not our right to judge others but to know one day God will be the final judge. — Maxine Skiba, Pierz
