Denise Niedzielski, 52

Denise M. Niedzielski, a resident of St. Cloud, died Sept. 11, 2012, at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Sept. 15,  at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Cloud, with the Rev. Jeremy Ploof officiating. Burial was at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Denise was born Jan. 23, 1960, in Little Falls to Leonard and Ramona (Kardash) Dzieweczynski.  She grew up in Swanville and moved to St. Cloud after graduating from high school.  Denise married Roderick Niedzielski in 1984.  She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She volunteered at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, helping with funeral luncheons, the Christian Women’s rummage sale and aided in the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Throughout her adult life, Denise worked at Chader’s Business Equipment in St. Cloud as an office technician, was an in-home mom and worked at Northern Wire in St. Cloud in the human resources department. In her community, she helped with the Halloween Freaky Friday at St. Augustine’s/St. Mary’s Schools, visited the ill at the St. Cloud Hospital and was an ASVAB Tester in area schools. She had a great love for plants and flowers and was a master gardener.

Survivors include her husband, Rod of St. Cloud; son and daughter, Zachary and Molly, both of St. Cloud; father, Leonard Dzieweczynski  of Swanville; and brothers, Larry (Julie) Dzieweczynski of St. Paul, Robert (Marilyn) Dzieweczynski of Swanville, Roger Dzieweczynski of Little Falls and Dennis (Susan) Dzieweczynski of Little Falls.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona.

In lieu of flowers, plants are preferred.
