Volleyball: Upsala edges Osakis to remain unbeaten

The Upsala volleyball team received its toughest test of the season so far at Osakis, Tuesday, dropping a set for the first time this fall.

But the Cardinals prevailed in a back-and-forth Prairie Conference showdown, winning 27-25, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24.

Upsala had four players record at least a dozen kills, including seniors Aimee Pelzer (18), Makenna Peterson (15) and Tracy Herzog (12) and sophomore Danica Cheney (12).

Pelzer had 26 set assists and Cheney chipped in 21, while Herzog blocked nine shots and Peterson turned back four.
