Girls Tennis: Little Falls uses balanced effort to edge St. Cloud Apollo

Little Falls earned a pair of wins in singles and doubles action to edge host St. Cloud Apollo 4-3, Monday.
Senior Jamie Jenks led the way at No. 1 singles with a convincing 6-0, 6-2 victory, while eighth grader Arielle Emerson pulled out a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 triumph at No. 4 singles.
In doubles play, the top duo of sophomores Mikayla Gottwalt and Katelynn Kanieski won 7-5, 6-0, with senior Alyssa Athman and sophomore Lindsey Schneider breezing to a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles.
