Son of the late Andrew and Bernice Andersen, he was born in Fargo, N.D. The family moved to Randall in 1945, where he attended local schools and worked for Northern Pacific Railroad. Stanley proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Then he worked primarily as an over-the-road truck driver and later in hotel maintenance where he met his wife, Mary Susana (Molano) Andersen. Stan was a member of Trinity Chapel. He was an avid “grandpa” to 12 grandchildren and a train enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife Susana and two sons, Kenneth of Coon Rapids and Joshua (Melissa) of Bloomington; two daughters, Heather of Siren, Wis., and Denise of Hayward, Wis.; two brothers, Jack C. of Little Falls and Mark of Ohama, Neb.; two sisters, Martha Stiller of Elk River and Maren Heim of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two previous wives and a brother, Roger.
A memorial service is planned for Oct. 27, with visitation at 10 a.m. and the service at 10:30 a.m. at Living Hope Church in Little Falls. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Randall.
