LF Area Chamber of Commerce to host candidate forums in October
The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce invites all Chamber and community members to the following candidate forums over the course of two weeks.
The Little Falls School Board candidate forum will be Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., at Little Falls Community High School auditorium, 1001 Fifth Ave. S.E., Little Falls. Visitors are asked to use the west entrance door, just off of the student parking lot. Invited candidates include Cathy Adamek, Gerald Knafla, Todd Kosovich, Lisa Lintner, Mike LeMeiur, Danny Noss, Jay Spillum and Sandi Stalmer.
The State Senate District 9 candidate forum will be held Friday, Oct. 5, from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Little Falls City Hall in the Council Chambers, 100 Seventh Ave. N.E., Little Falls. Invited candidates include Al Doty and Paul Gazelka.
The candidate forum for Morrison County Commissioner seats will be held Monday, Oct. 8, from 3 p.m. – 4:40 p.m. at Little Falls City Hall in the Council Chambers. Invited candidates include Sharon Ballou, Rich Collins, Jeff Jelinski, Kevin Maurer, Jeff Schilling and Randy Winscher.
The House of Representative District 9B forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., at the Little Falls City Hall in Council Chambers. Invited candidates are Ron Kresha and Adrian Welle.
Candidates for Little Falls City Council have been invited to a forum to be held Monday, Oct. 15, at Little Falls City Hall in the Council Chambers. The forum for Ward 1 candidates will be held from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. with invited candidates Loren Boyum, Robin Hensel and Brett Wittwer. From 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., the Ward 2 forum will be held, with invited candidates Urban Otremba, Thesesa Skorseth and Greg Zylka. The Ward 3 forum will be held from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., with invited candidates Richard Berg, Frank Gosiak, Audreen “Ozzie” Schwegman and Kathy Woitalla.
All candidate forums will be recorded for rebroadcast on cable access Channel 6 in Little Falls and Channel 12 in Pierz.
