Football: Browerville withstands Royalton rushing attack

The Royalton football team churned out 226 rushing yards, but visiting Browerville held the Royals out of the end zone to earn a 22-0 win, Friday.

Junior Tony Gadacz led Royalton with 75 rushing yards, followed by sophomore Jordan Smieja (50), junior Cade Stang (44), senior Tyler Hegna (32) and sophomores Brady Moulzolf (20) and Austin Popp (8).

Stang also intercepted a pass, as the Royals kept the Tigers off the board in the second half after Browerville built a 22-0 halftime lead.
