Girls Tennis: Little Falls, Pierz each place two on All-GRC honorable mention team

Little Falls seniors Jamie Jenks and Alyssa Athman and Pierz senior Morgan Waytashek and junior Stephanie Brill were selected as All-Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) honorable mention after the conclusion of Saturday’s GRC tournament in Foley.
Jenks led Little Falls throughout the season in singles action, placing sixth at No. 1 singles in the GRC tournament.
Athman was a leader for the Flyers in doubles competition, teaming up with sophomore Lindsey Schneider to earn fifth at No. 3 doubles.
Waytashek and Brill won their first two matches en route to a second-place finish at No. 2 doubles.
Eighth grader Angela Meschke also took sixth for Little Falls at No. 3 singles, as did the Flyers’ No. 2 doubles duo of seniors Amanda Evans and Tori Magee.
Senior Becca Froelich and sophomore Shelbie Boser were the next highest placers for Pierz, earning third at No. 2 doubles, with sophomore Kelsey Moulzolf taking fourth at No. 3 singles, junior Kiah Marschel placing fifth at No. 2 singles and junior Emily Okroi finishing fifth at No. 4 singles.
