Sophomore Kendra Pohlman recorded 16 kills and senior Noelle Kurowski had 13 as Little Falls topped host Becker 25-20, 26-24, 19-25, 25-14 in a Granite Ridge Conference match-up.
Volleyball: Pierz 3, Rockford Area 1
Pierz rallied from a set down to defeat host Rockford Area 21-25, 25-23, 25-11, 25-19 and remain perfect in Central Minnesota Conference play.
Junior Bridget Bednar planted 16 kills and sophomore Jessica Hawks had 27 set assists for the Pioneers.
Volleyball: West Central Area 3, Royalton 0
Visiting West Central Area held off a late surge to defeat Royalton 25-12, 25-17, 27-25 in Prairie Conference action.
Senior Kalee Petron had seven kills for the Royals, with junior Emily Fussy and sophomore Abby Duevel each adding six.

Swanville rolled past visiting Eagle Valley 25-20; 25-9; 25-20 in Prairie Conference play.
Sophomore Danica Hanson passed out 32 set assists for the Bulldogs, with senior Marissa Evans flooring 12 kills and senior Brittany Poegel planting eight.

Upsala remained unbeaten in Prairie Conference play with a sweep over visiting Browerville.

Holdingford cruised in the first set, but visiting Kimball Area rallied to take the final three for a 16-25, 25-8, 25-18, 25-21 win.
Senior Jena Volkers had 14 digs, nine kills and five service aces in the match for the Huskers.
Cross Country: Little Falls girls third, boys fourth at Perham
The Little Falls girls cross country team took third at Perham behind top-eight finishes from seniors Mattia Hendrickson (15:41.3) and Chelsea Rutz (15:58.2), with the Flyers boys earning fourth behind a 13th-place performance by junior Mathew Massmann (17:17.0).
Boys Soccer: Little Falls 4, Becker 0
Little Falls completed a season sweep of visiting Becker, rolling past the Bulldogs 4-0.
Junior Tim Infinger posted a goal and three assists to lead the Flyers.

Visiting Ogilvie was no match for Holdingford, as the Huskers rolled to a 67-24 win.

Pierz advanced past the first round of sub-section play with a 6-1 win over visiting Mora, sweeping the doubles competition.

Fourth-seeded Becker topped fifth-seeded Little Falls 6-1 during the Sub-Section 8AA South quarterfinals in Sartell.
Eighth grader Arielle Emerson posted the lone win for the Flyers, emerging on top 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 against an opponent that had defeated her twice previously in three sets.
Emerson rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the final set by taking six of the final seven games for the win.
