Thank you letters, Oct. 7 issue

To the Editor:

A very special thank you to Coborn’s, for allowing us to sell our quilt chances and also to all the people who took time to purchase our tickets. I am happy to say that our fund raiser was very successful. A special thank you to Marilyn Boeddeker, who made the beautiful quilt. The quilt was won by Alberta Servaty from Pierz. Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting the St. Gabriel’s Hospital Auxiliary. — Gloria Lust, St. Gabriel’s Hospital Auxiliary, Little Falls

To the Editor:

We would like to thank Andrew Borash for the great job that he did in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. As an Eagle Scout project, he organized his work crew (with adult supervision) and edged around and raised the footstones in the cemetery where needed.

Thank you for a job well done. — Father Laurn Virnig and the Holy Trinity Parish, Royalton

To the Editor:

The St. Gabriel’s Hospital Auxiliary thanks the VFW Post 1112 for the generous use of their facility for the Belgian Waffle Breakfast we held this past Sunday. Their generosity will enable the auxiliary to provide funding for hospital patient items. We especially thank Chris Eix for her gracious assistance. — Betty Pasela, Hospital Auxiliary, President, Little Falls

To the Editor:

The VFW 9073 Auxiliary would like to thank Post #9073, Chef Rick Turner along with his crew and all who helped in any way to ensure another successful membership dinner this past week-end. The attendance was impressive, the meal delicious  and the ambiance in the hall was relaxing with the decorated tables. — Sharon Ballou, VFW #9073 Auxiliary Officer, Randall
