Football: Albany tops Little Falls in inaugural GRC match-up

Albany sprinted to a 44-0 halftime lead en route to a 44-6 over visiting Little Falls, Friday.

Junior Jalen Wuchko rushed for 72 yards on 17 carries and senior Jordan Petrone picked up 37 yards and scored the Flyers’ lone touchdown in the third quarter.

Senior Spencer Fenske completed 6-of-14 passes for 86 yards, with all of his completions going to senior Collin Eckman.

Sophomore Bryce Zawatzke made 10 tackles to lead Little Falls on defense.

It was the first meeting in Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) play between the two squads.

Little Falls concludes the regular season with a home game against Milaca, Wednesday.
