Girls Swimming and Diving: Kempenich, Gold win four events as Little Falls topples Becker

Senior Diana Kempenich and sophomore Mati Gold each won all four of their events to lead Little Falls to a convincing 103-81 triumph over visiting Becker, Thursday.

Kempenich took first individually in the 50-yard freestyle (27.35) and 100 fly (1:10.98), while Gold earned first in the 200 freestyle (2:18.21) and 500 freestyle (6:12.16).

Both swimmers also teamed up with senior Emily Stark and freshman Makyla Klever to seize the top spot in the 200 medley relay (2:05.5) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:52.18).

Eighth-grader Savanna Slettom touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke (1:15.99) and the trio of freshman Gabby Lyter (186.6), senior Carly Atkinson (179.5) and eighth-grader Julia Noyes (146.6) swept the top three positions in the 1-meter dive.
