Volleyball: Kurowski, Little Falls slam Foley

Little Falls sophomore Kendra Pohlman spikes the ball during the opening set of Thursday’s Granite Ridge Conference match against visiting Foley. Pohlman finished with four kills, four service aces and six digs in the sweep.

Little Falls seized control early and didn’t let up, steamrolling visiting Foley for the second time this season 25-20, 25-11, 25-21, Thursday.

Senior Noelle Kurowski had five kills, 12 digs and four service aces to lead the Flyers.

Sophomore Kendra Pohlman was the next leading hitter with four kills, with senior Katie Schulte and juniors Jennifer Ronning and Sierra Virnig each adding three.

Junior Stephanie Wardarski dished out 16 set assists and made seven digs, senior Emily Suska and Virnig recorded 10 digs apiece and Ronning delivered a team-high six service aces.
