Volleyball: LPGE fends off Royalton in sweep

Royalton challenged host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (LPGE) after a slow start, but the Thunder held on for a 25-10, 25-13, 25-23 win, Tuesday.

Senior Kalee Petron led the Royals with six kills, with junior Courtney Popp and sophomore Abby Duevel adding three apiece.

Junior Katelyn Kasella posted a team-high nine digs and senior Gabby Dupre was perfect serving with an ace.

Royalton competes at the Upsala tournament, Thursday.
