Football: Lange rushes for six touchdowns as USA routs KMS to complete 7-1 regular season

Host Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (KMS) simply had no answer for USA running back Mitch Lange, as the junior ran roughshod against the Saints to lead the Patriots to a 50-15 win, Wednesday.

Lange finished the night with 252 yards and six touchdowns on 16 attempts and added six solo tackles and four assists on defense.

Freshman Kyle Lange complimented the rushing attack with 65 yards on five rushes to go with nine solo tackles.

Sophomore Jordan Sales added four solo tackles and a pair of sacks and senior Alec Griffith recorded seven solo tackles and four assists.

USA enters the playoffs with a 7-1 record on the heels of a four-game winning streak.

The Patriots will be the fourth seed in Section 6AA and host fifth-seeded Osakis in Tuesday’s quarterfinals.

USA defeated Osakis 37-14, Oct. 5.
