To the Editor:
The League of Women voters strongly opposes the Voter ID Amendment. The League of Women voters are non-partisan, meaning no affiliation with any political party.
In my opinion, why try to fix something that’s not broken.
This amendment will cost taxpayers millions of dollars to set up and mega-dollars every year at the polling places. It takes away our constitutional right to same-day registration and voting.
For more information go online to the League of Women voters. Also, is there anything along with the Voter ID Amendment tacked onto this bill? There always is.
